Pyle is garbage! Dont ever buy that crap.. Legacy is garbage too..

Sony is not much better honestly. Their audio stuff looks nice, but really is way overrated

try the Pyle first (if you already own it)

alot of people talk alot of noise about lower end brands like they have used them....truth is they haven't.

Ive ran everything from Roadgear/Legacy/rockford/MTX/RE/DD/treo/alpine/kenwood/blue print drivers/ audio mobile/tc sounds plus about 40 others

thats a real list not a list i made up BTW.

Truth is some lower lines really impressed me. I had a jenson bass tube thing i got in wal mart clearance for $20, was actually decent. does it compare to a $400 TC sub, no. But it was excellent for the price.

^^^ ha..

Yeah back in the day my first amp was a legacy 1000watt amp. It put out maybe 50 watts rms.. I know first hand those brands are absolute ****! Pyle is the same thing. If you dont have it, dont buy it ever! You WILL waste your money.

roadgear? dear God..

jensen? Come on.. I had a jensen bandpass box w/jensen subs from BB hooked up to that legacy amp and the whole box rattled apart.. Then I bought some 300watt rms subs, hooked them up to that legacy pos, and they almost didn't move at all.

Thats when I bought a Rockford 300s, back when they were good, and then there was an old Concord amp, hifonics, DEI 2400d (when their amps were awesome), a Van Gogh and some other older brands that were amazing. You really will get what you pay for. There are good sites to buy from tho, like sonicelectronix..

I would go over to caraudioforum and ask some questions.

edit: regarding your $20 jensen bass tube, I didnt read that far before, I'll agree that for 20 bucks that might have not been bad

...my point was not everyone has thousand of dollars to spend on Audison/Zapco/etc

most people are happy with a head unit and a simple coax swap

Wow, I've been out of the game for a while, never even heard of a few of those. I've always run RF, Alpine, Diamond Audio or Blaupunkt, stay away from blaupunkt head units and speakers, they just straight up suck, their amps aren't too bad though...

My cousin has had decent success with Pioneer. If I was going to go cheap, I would take their subs over a comparably priced Sony.
Still better off just to spend the few extra bucks and buy something like RF. Or used JL stuff. I have a W3 that's 1,000,000 years old and still sounds good.

Are those in the RF box? If so, my cousin had that setup
They are in a custom built box for the trunk of the G35, with correct air space specs for the p2's.

I'm getting ansy to do this too.. It appears you either need a OEM-2 from pac parts, SVEN4 or amps that accept differential inputs, like some JL amps.. Then everything needs to be wired. It actually doesnt seem like it will be that bad
