get a line out put converter (LOC) it will only send the lower frequencies to your sub/amp.

I dont know how low of a signal the stock head unit puts out but im sure its low enough to notice a sub in the back.

Depends on the kind of music you play and what your looking at. I used to run 2 12"s but they overpowered the mids and highs too much. Also had to run a remote gain **** to the cabin just to be able to get decent sound out of it between different bands. Always required constant tweaking. I switched to a high power 10" and have never been happier with the sound of my car. Make sure to turn off or lower your SSV setting to minimize variations while driving, it has a noticeable impact on subwoofer level compared to mids and highs.

those are easy to install

just run a power wire from your battery and a ground to a chassis ground

it should turn on with a signal from the factory speaker wires

pyle isnt the greatest brand, but if you allready have it, go for it

Running RF 2-10" P2's with RF Punch 500 on Subs & RF Punch 300 on mids/highs all on the Non-Bose Stock head unit, all is fine except the CRAPPY stock 6-disc Changer. Its not working again...imagine that...Time for an upgrade..

Sony Explode don’t suck. I had many subwoofers, Sony Explode(SE), Rockford Fosgates(RF) and Audiobahns, all have their pros and cons. It all depends on the music you listen to. SE and Audiobahn speakers work really well with rap, hip hop and pop and music with a lot of bass line. Audiobahn sucks because they blow to easy. And the only time that SE speakers suck is when they are not ported. Rockfords Fosgates are amazing, but they are only amazing with rock music or music with lot of bass hits (no bass line) and not ported. RF suck with bass line. So it is your choice.

^IDK dude. I listened to a SE and a RF in the same box, same amp. The Sony was completely shamed by the RF. It had cone flex like CRAZY. And I'm not talking about rock (you're right though, the RF's do like rock) I'm talking hip hop bass.
