Seriously I am done. I typically only do wheels, coilovers, and exhaust. I added the OEM wing on this car because I think it compliments the car. This car will be primarily used for work so I have to leave it alone.

Not my first rodeo when it comes to modifying cars. This is my sixth. Subaru SVX, Acura Legend, Two GTI's, CLK 55 AMG, and now the G. For exhaust, spoiler, wheels, caliper paint, miscellaneous i will have spent about $4500. The only other thing i might due is a little touch up paint work. As far as intakes and the like not interested. Too much hassle and maintenance for the gain. My opinion of course. Oiling filters and replacing MAF sensors gets old quick. I work alot so I just don't have the time to deal with parts that can potentially create issues.

By the way i installed the BC coilovers this weekend. Initial driving impressions were very good. My previous experience with coilovers have been Koni and KW. These are actually built better in my opinion. They are billet aluminum and the other materials are high grade as well. Most coilovers are not billet. Adjustment was fairly straight forward and could be done while the coilovers were installed. On my AMG and GTI you have to drop the rear spring to adjust ride height which is a pain. My only criticism so far is that you bottom out the rear in terms of how high you can go very quickly. The maximum you can raise the car in the rear is just over a one finger gap from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender. I wanted just under a two finger gap. I have about two more threads on the rear so I can not go higher. Let me tell you, these coilovers will let you drag the ground. I can go super low. With just over one finger gap i can already tell I will in fact need a camber kit. Maybe for the front and rear. The rear is definitely worse but again I may go ahead and get a kit for the front too.

I lowered the car almost three inches to achieve just over a one finger gap all around. I will post before and after pics this week of every thing I have done. I have dropped a lot of cars and this drop made a dramatic improvement. It is always amazing to me how dropping a car can really make the lines pop.

Thursday i get the fenders rolled in the rear to make room for 18/9.5 TSW Willows running 275's. I might go for a test fit on the wheels monday just to make sure they will fit after i roll the fenders.

By the way the ride quality is superb for a car that was dropped almost three inches. I am running in the middle in regards to the soft vs hard setting. It is firm but not annoying. It rides and feels like a lower car should.

To me suspension and exhaust connect you to a car. I can feel and hear the car now. Before it felt numb and honestly uninspired. Now I feel connected, now it belongs in my garage.

The first two pics are test fits of the TSW Willow wheels prior to rolling the fenders. The third pic is the car dropped on the BC Coilovers on the stock 17's. The last pic is the stock ride height.

they are definitely different but in person they are clean. they are just 10spoke wheels with gloss black lips. i did not want the same old wheels. the tires sure as hell didnt help. those are 245/45 up front and 275/40 on the rear. they looked like donuts! ultimately going with 225/45 up front and 255/40 in the rear for a little stretch.

appreciate your opinion though. i didnt want it to look exactly like my AMG so i switched it up a little. once i get the fenders rolled, camber kit installed, get the right tires on, and get the drop right you will get a clearer picture or not

you have to go 20-22's and chrome to get to 300C status...

Coils were a great choice, but not digging the rims. Just dont match the car.

^ +1. However the rims might be able to be saved if the face gets blacked out like the lip and add a silver timeattack around the rims. Just a thought
