Since I got an oil change due, I am thinking of adding a K&N Air Filter. Is it worth it? Does it make the engine sound nicer?

Any comments about my new rims is appreciated

Thanks,

Hanif

I'd need more/better pics to tell you for sure what I think of your wheels. As far as the filter question K&N is a good brand but won't change your engine tone. You should look at getting a basic Z tube and a plenum spacer as a start to change the sound and performance of your car.

looks good, 18" i assume? rare blue colour too!

as with most opinion questions you won't get a straight answer on the K&N filter. i have one, as i have on all my vehicles. never had any problems. for $35 it means i never have to replace the filter again, so that is a cost savings. i doubt there is any measurable performance gains so for me it is the serviceability improvement that sways me. don't rush out to buy a K&N if your filter is still fine, wait until it needs replacing.

you won't notice a sound difference - for that get the Z tube and an exhaust mod (coupe mid, HKS, etc...).

I like the rims. K&N is okay, I run them on both my vehicles, but if I had it to do over again I'd go with a dry filter like the one from Amsoil. I may yet do that.

How much would a Z tube run me for? So does the K&N filter add any HP to the car at all?

^^ No, unless you buy a whole cold air intake like the Stillen or JWT popcharger. Search those up.

You can get a Stillen one. I got it from CZP for $59.95, but I'm not using it yet.

From my personal experience, I didn't notice any difference with a K&N drop in. That's just me though. Other people say it's good. You should check this out:

Nice car man! Caribbean Blue is WINNNN!
I like the chrome accents with CB too, which is strange, because normally I like blackout, but it goes really good with your wheels (which also look really nice BTW)

If I were in your shoes, next on my mod list would be painting the lower sills to match the car, clear corners, and dropping on Z springs
