hey all, I have a '06x with 57k miles. I have recurrently had problems with the fuel pressure sending units. I noticed that my gas mileage was horrible. I took the car to my infiniti dealer and on my first visit they replaced the primary fuel pressure sending unit because it was showing codes.

6,000 miles later I noticed bad gas mileage again and this time the dealer replaced both primary and secondary fuel pressure sending units - again they showed codes.

I am having the same problem again and I know the dealer will have to replace both sending units.

Anyone experienced this issue. Since my warranty is up at 60K, I am going to call the infiniti regional rep and see if nissan/infiniti will cover the replacement costs should they fail again after the warranty period

 

as far as im concerned, dealers warranty their work for 12 months. should consider extended warranty.
