Painted Tail lights/Bluebat overlays

Which is better??? Bluebat overlays? I am concerned that the bluebats are a PITA to put on (are they?) also concerned about the paint being permanent? Any experience would be appreciated.

I've had both... Bats overlays are a good start (removable for future changes) - they are a pita to apply properly, I advise having someone that has done a few install - or have someone that does clear-bra insatalling apply the overlays...

paint looks more refined and if done properly it will last without issue (I recommend a quality shop not diy)

I your car is mainly stock (meaning no heavy body mods or custom paint) I would suggest using overlays for a while.

I have pics of my car with both - but I'm sure you've seen various pics of both so unless requested I'm not gonna bother digging them up to post...

+10000000 on them being hard to install. Mine took about 3 hours per side for them to turn out decent.
