My 11,000~ Service

I don't know about everyone else, but I love my car to the point where I drive too much. I've had it since the end of July, and it's been great. Only thing that threw me off on this service was the fact that they had to replace a circuit board in my car. Does anyone know what was the change? there was no charge for it. I'm kinda curious. Plus I've found that no a/c has made a good difference in my gas mileage. On my drive down the 5 from san francisco to san diego, I found that with air conditioning, gas gets eaten like no other. Don't know if that helps anyone. Lastly, anyone know a good place for a tint in Orange County?

The cicuit board was part of a recall/TSB... The center stack would go out. I still have not taken mine back to have it changed.

Here is a link to a post about the recall ...

Actually that makes sense (a/c killing gas milege)

I live in Palm Springs and ever since I got the car I've been using the A/C because of the warm days around 85-92 degress and the pollen... I'll have to suffer a tad and try and run a full tank of gas without using the A/C. With the A/C on all the time i've been getting around 16.7- 17 MPG and thats with easy driving.

You mention a good place in Orange County to tint the windows. I am very interested in hearing about your suggestion. Also did you use metalic tint? I have Navigation and I don't want to make the Navi reception any worse than it already is.

The service cost about $80 b/c of a special they were having at Infiniti in Serramonte in the Bay Area. It is supposed to be around $100.
