VIP Modular Wheels

Would anybody be interested in any of these wheels? The salesman at Sonic Motorsports in Milpitas, CA told me they would bring the price down if there was a group buy on any of their wheels. I got a price quote of 3700 w/o tires of the VR 05 in staggerred 19s for a sedan. Has anybody here done business with Sonic?

got the price down to 3400. these are high quality wheels like HRE's, but not as high priced. talk to Darwin at Sonic Motorsports

3500? I would rather get some Work or Volks.

That company probably gets the wheels from the same manufacturer as DPE and iForged. Some place in Vista CA.

That is what i was told. Same manfacucturer, different centercaps. The VIP's are 3pc forged, not cast like Work. Imho, I think Work has nicer looking wheels, but might weigh more. Tough to decide since both are high quality wheels.

^ Sorry. Didn't mean to. I'd like to get new rims someday, but still trying to decide if I should stay with current set-up or go aftermarket. It's frustrating 'cuz I'm not getting pms from certain wheel vendors and not getting calls back from local mod shops on wheel pricing. I'm trying to be patient and looking for the right look and fair price. To be honest, if I did buy, I would try to make a local sale on the G37 coupe rims.

dpe wheels look better and i can get you better pricing than that shop for DPEs

I would get the DPE Work T1S Replica. BUT, I'm guessing these would cost more than the originals. LOL

I was quoted an even 3g's 2-3 years ago (19x8, 19x10). Price may be inflated now. I know the price on Work wheels did.
