My track time is enough to prove it. You never see a 330 even near my tiem at the track. lol

Ownage is about .2 on the track. Average G over 3 ownage would be .5 or higher? What are we missing here that is so hard to see?

Ok I guess our definition of ownage is different. Ownage for me requires a good 1.5 second 1/4 mile difference. I'm talking where even from 40-60 MPH a car leaps 2-3 car lengths on you. That's ownage. What do you call a Ferrari Enzo vs. a Hummer H2? Reserve ownage for when it's deserved.

1.5 sec in the 1/4 is something like 3-4 car lengths. Yea that is ownaged. But even 1 car length and still pulling is ownage as well.

330 is not a comparison for G35. I think its unfair compare those 2.
330 zhp is wich might be faster or equal with G35. I think they came up with 330zhp just because to compete with the G.
The regular 330 was on the top with category before the G came out. It owned audi A4 3.0, Is300 and so on.....

stock for stock a G35 sedan will not kill a freakin 330i.

G35 sedan 6-speed:

0-60
6.30 sec.

Car and Driver site doesnt have 2004 specs, and according to BMW website, a 330i goes 0-60 in 6.8 seconds, and BMW are very conservative for their time.

 

Hmmm never saw that slow of a time before, when I see 5.6-5.8 all other tests.

Sorry but 330 will be spanked should I say by a G35. I have test driven both, the 330 is not all that. 260 vs 220hp, umm do the math.

gear ratio of first is all that matter to get to 60. 0-100 and 1/4 mile tell the tale of torque.

IMHO, I've seen waaaay worse in bimmerforums and acura boards. This is a heavily moderated forum and flaming isn't allowed. The people here have been pretty civil and it seems you're annoyed because they are disagree with you. I re-read the entire post and people have a legitimate claim as to why the G35 is FASTER than a 330. Numerous publications as evidence have been cited. I don't see why "WE" g35 drivers are so bad because we disagree with you.

Weight is a huge difference you idiot. But the 330 weighs almost the same as the Sedan G35.3300~.
