What are you considering to be bad gas mileage??
I have the Injen full CAI & get 21-22 city & 23.5-24 on hwy & i don't have a light foot...
That cannot be stop and go city, that's for sure. I've now driven the car 1000 miles since I got it and today I drove it around 250 miles for work and got 22.9 mpg average with mostly highway driving. I would estimate that if I completely baby it and drive like a grandma I could squeeze the mpg above 24. In the city, I get 16-17. On a normal tank with a mix of stop/go city driving and 40% pure highway driving, the average is around 18 or so.Originally Posted by 03GT35R
edit: Like mentioned above, the z-tube is a must. You think your gas mileage will be bad now..wait til you get that...What are you considering to be bad gas mileage??

huh.. I get about 16-20 mpg depending if I take the car on freeway for an extended drive (30-60 mins) or take back winding roads alot. I've never gotten anywhere close to 24, but havent been able to have it on the freeway for a whole tank. The longer freeway trips do make the gas last way longer even at 75 mph.Originally Posted by 03GT35R

I've gotten 24+ on the highway, and that was going 75-80. Conditions were pretty good on my last long trip, mid-50's, no precip, no traffic so even though I was driving fast, I didn't change my speed much. Akron to Toodleedoo on the turnpike averaging 75-ish and US23/I-75 for a few hundred miles at 80+ and got 24.1 on that tank. I get about 18 with mixed semi-rural and small town driving. And I'm not gentle with the right foot. Properly inflated tires with low rolling resistance make a huge diff on mileage.
So one of my first ideal mods to the car would be the following:
TVandNAV2go pnp
Rear video camera
PXAMG
HDRT
Ipod cable
Viper 4702v (just want to get the remote start since I want to keep the Ikey)
EDIT: maybe a single stage tilt sensor or something else to add to the factory alarm system, anyone do that before?
Anything I'm missing to make that install work? The static is already annoying the **** out of me from the FM modulator haha so this needs to be done ASAP.

So besides the few audio mods, I've also been itching to get rid of the bumper. Does anyone know have a ballpark how much this would cost to fill and re-paint?
The destruction under the plate and above it!

I plan on getting this:

^while they're at it, you should get them to shave the tow hook cover.
I've always thought that bumper would look good with the center duct enlarged to match the outside ones... but IDK, that might get pricey.

I'm going to try to get an estimate and I'll post back here. I'm not a big mod guy so something like this plus some small audio stuff are my idea of mods.Originally Posted by NFSP G35
