^ Gee, I guess that would make a vendor THAT much more to want to get this done, if only to stop hearing asinine comments such as that above

It has not even been a month since I met with Ionic to drop off the donor front lip for the mold to be made. A month ago the process was just getting started, though this thread has existed for several months.

There has been several updates that Ionic has posted in this thread and many seem to not bother trying to find/read them. I would think that any time frame short of three months from start to finish for a replica to be made available for purchase is nothing short of miraculous.

The molds are finished, we are just going to bake them this weekend and have the first molded lip out on Monday night.

I should be able to meet up sometime next week with pnn23 to test fit the lip and confirm the fitment.

If everything checks out then we will post up the Group Deal thread and star taking orders the following day.

Thanks!!
Thanks for the progress report. And ignore the whiners... you're making good time

So, will the lip be availible in carbon fiber?

Great news, can't wait to see it.

It would be helpful if some people would go back and actually read through the thread and see that there has been plenty of progress in the last several weeks.

if you would have read just a little bit you would have found out that the lip was recently available to Ionic. and no it doesnt take a year, its not our fault you didnt buy an original OEM from Riverside infiniti 3-5 months back when they had like 15 in stock!

Once these lips are ready to purchase, I'll just gotta convince the wife that it's a necessity.

Ok before people starting bashing me let me rephrase that, I was meaning to say could the lip take up to a year to make? I know time makes perfection, I was lazy to go into details and did a FAST Q&A. No disrespect to Ionic. I have been reading the updates everytime. Sorry if it was unclear, I am in no hurry. Now that I know the lip is almost done that's good news.

^Oh ok... sorry, your earlier post sounded like you were being sarcastic and critical.
Didn't realize you were just asking a question.
From the looks of it, Ionic is getting things done very quickly.
Hopefully they'll have more updates later in the week, but I too am in no rush. (and wouldn't want to rush the process)

Its cool dude I didn't mean to make it sound sarcastic, I read the earlier updates and I probably missed the later ones. I know making stuff like this isn't easy so I thought it can take longer than a few months. Now after reading the most current update, I can't wait!

EDIT: wow after rereading that comment I posted a few days ago, I sounded a d*** being sarcastic.
