Blue tooth?

Anyone have blue tooth in an 05 ? Anyway to install something maybe to give our stock HU blue tooth? Im so jealous my gf has an 09 ford focus and blue tooth.

I synced my iphone right up and its pretty cool plays the music perfectly wireless and with voice control. Also when listening to music if you get a call the music just fades away and you can answer it and when you hang up you song just continues where it left off. I thought this was pretty cool especially cause I see all these threads of people asking ways to play there ipods through their car... Well Blue tooth does it and it sounds good and is cool with voice control.

Just wondering if there is a way to add it? or do you have to get a new deck?

Three step process:

Step 1: Rip out entire stock system.

Step 2: Build complete custom system based off a mobile computer.

Step 3: Wright all custom software to interface the iPhone.

It's just that easy! (Yeah, I know booooooo)

Sorry, I really don't think there's a simple way to do this. That the very least, you would be looking at getting a new head-unit that had the same or similar functionality.

Really? Not even a cheaper aftermarket headunit can fix this??

I love that blue tooth feature! Played music wireless nicely. I guess I gotta trade my G for a ford focus

^There may be an aftermarket head unit that has the functionality you're looking for.
IDK because I haven't kept up-to-date with HU's lately.
Just go to Best-Buy and play around with all the Head Units until you find one that does what you want... and then buy it from somewhere with decent prices

yeah aftermarket units are the only way to go. The 06s had BT but its for phone calls only and really isnt all that great from what I've read. The new Fords have Microsoft sync in them which is a really neat feature.

I use the Jabra SP700. works great for me - only $30 on e-bay. it clips onto your visor, and you can transmit your call/music to your radio (the only problem being that you need to find a radio frequency not in use).

In My girls 09 Ford Focus the blue tooth is amazing lol. Synced right up I played with it again today and even the Navigation Apps I have on my iPhone worked great. It was telling us step by step directions right through the speakers of the car. Her blue tooth has so many features and works so good.

Really? Hows the sound quality through the speakers? Fuzzy at all or crystal clear? Sounds like a FM transmitter so im just wondering if the sound quality is as crappy as fm transmitters.

Order a Jdm dash finisher with climate control. Get a metra 40-ni10 antenna adapter. If you have a Bose system get a metra 70-7551. If not, get a Metra 70-7550. Get a kenwood dnx6160 and a pac swi-jack steering wheel adapter, or a Pioneer avic x910/920 with a pac swi-ps. make sure you get the appropriate ipod cable for which ever radio you choose. install. done.

The ford synch system is a little different than the oem 06 Bluetooth. The ford system works very well and can be used for many applications. The oem setup is for phone calls only...and blows at that.

Would love if Infiniti came out with something like sync
