Selling Coupe to get Sedan?
#76
I bought my 04 6mt sedan with 42,000 miles for $11,666, and it had stillen intake, hotchkiss sways (front and rear), custom stainless steel dual piping catback with magnaflow resonators and muffler, and a set of 17" Kosei K1's.
They had it listed for 13k, but I talked them down. I'm just saying 12k is too much for a stock sedan with a reconstructed title.
And for the sedan vs coupe weight thing, you have to remember it all started with a sedan. The sedan was the first one to come out, so they had to build a coupe based off the sedan chassis. That is why the early (03-04) sedans were a little bit lighter

^ seems like you got yourself a killer deal!
The car in question is roughly worth around 17k-18k clean, I dunno I think 12k seems like an ok price for it, although i dont know if he would be willing to drop it that much...
I mean he is asking 14k for it, I know thats way too much, but guess will see what happens, gotta sell my car first, haha...

The car can't be worth 17-18k with a reconstructed title
05-06's go for that with clean titles around here
If you want to get it, then do it

Hehe, try driving an IP up here where it snows. That IP becomes DG or OB real quick in the winter. I normally detest white cars, but I have to admit that the IP G35 is one of the very few that looks really good. Still wouldn't buy it, but I can appreciate it.
For me, it's not the issues so much as the potential resale and insurance problems. Also the warranty. I'm sure many work out just fine, but I still won't buy one. I think most people are better off buying a clear titled car than upgrading to a nicer car with a rebuilt title.

You are aware that the "x" means it has AWD. right? And that in some regions of the country it's a good thing to have AWD? 300 pounds is a small price to pay for being able to only have one car I can drive year-round.

well...i didn't trade a coupe for a sedan, i have been rockin 4drs since my '93 maxie , '96, '98, and '02 and a '03 wifeys auto...(four doors till i die) -yeah i know, lame, but i dont care
anyway, it took me a while to find my G i live in the north now but was in the south and look from atl to green bay for like 7 months....i settled on a 04 6mt sedan with 57k on it and 2 accidents, insurance fixed them both, she rides like a dream and the price....$9,200 - well woth the wait
just my 2 pennies
