Hotchkis Sway Bar - Differences in generation

Hello,

I was in the market of purchasing Hotchkis sway bars. I know there were two different generations and wanted to know what the update was. From my research, there is an additional hole in the front sway and welded collars. Is this the main difference? Also, how much difference in terms of stiffness exist between the two generations? I am thinking of just purchasing the first generation if there isn't too much difference. I would like to hear your opinions. Thanks.

The newer version with the welded collars will be better. The collars help reduce the movement of the sway bars. Don't know if there's a difference in stiffness.

I have the first generation but still think they work well.

The collared version had an additional hole because the chassis of the 06 was supposedly stiffer so the settings of the first generation bar were lower. Hotchkis' website shows the difference in % for 03-05 and then for the 06s.
