It was only on two stands, the car shifted & they kicked out.
I would never buy used jack stands, I think my Safety merits to buy new ones rather then used. They are not that expensive

+1. actually they were on sale last week for 11.99 for the 3 ton jackstands. i think originally only 16.99 for a set of 2
Have a sears near you? Their 2.5 ton stands are 20 a pair. They are also a low profile so easier to get under the car.
I have 6 of them. Good cheap stands. My mustang spent 7 month on 4 of them this winter

These are the ones I have. They are 2.25 ton. That is per pair, so you are good for 4500 pounds per axle...overkill for a g35

If you want a little more heavy duty, there are these.

I have the craftsman 3 ton professional stands and a craftsman low profile jack. They've been excellent, definitely recommend just buying new. My dad has some stands like the ones you have pictured, he got them used like 15 years ago, to add to his craftsman ones and they were ancient then and although they've been fine, you never know..
Darwin Award nominee's!!! Just get new jackstands! Yours or someones elses safety is worth spending extra money.
