Remote fob - odd happenings

I'm wondering if these symptoms mean my battery in my remote fob are dying or do I maybe have an electrical issue:

Used to be on the first "unlock" hit the driver door would unlock, and on 2nd hit all doors unlocked. Now it takes several tries to even get the driver door to unlock. Also, today I hit "unlock" and my driver window and passenger window went down instead of the doors unlocking.
????????

Or the button is sticking due to spillage of a sugary beverage.

Also, your car might be haunted.

Those are both viable reasons as well.

If you hold the key fob firmly against your chin and press the unlock button what happens?

Does it unlock/lock more consistently or does it not change operation?
