G35 Sedan alarm is wierd?

Hey guys what's going on, is it just me or does your battery go off when you try to disconnect it yourself? I mean I like this feature but it's really unconvient how it goes off and I have to run around my car and put the key in the ignition to turn it off. ( I live in a quiet neighborhood )

Also, my G35 doesn't make a noise when I lock or unlock the car, I was told to hold the lock & unlock together for awhile and it'll work, but my car just goes off like crazy when I try to lock the car after.

I just want some feedback because I haven't met much other G's out here in socal.

press the unlock and lock button at different time, press lock, unlock, lock, unlock, etc. until you hear a beep.

the car wont beep when you unlock using the keyfob. For locking with the keyfob, it can either beep the horn or do nothing.

You change that by holding the two buttons at the same time..

My alarm doesnt go off when I unplug the battery..is that what your saying?

lol looking forward to the video, and my alarm goes off when i unplug the battery. it's a really nice feature! it's just a big annoyance when i'm working on something electrical and I have to disconnect it.

yeah i held the lock and unlock button several times, and it just makes my car sound off when i press lock.
