im on bc coils but...

Hey guys.
I got bc coils installed on my g35x couple weeks back.
Ever since i had the coils installed, I started to get creaking/squeaking sound from the rear passenger side. The sound is only heard when i go over a bump.
Im not sure what the sound is but its coming from the suspension area.
Cant seem to pinpoint the sound.
Any help would be great!
thanks.

I've got this too (05x), but I'm on Teins and KYB's. I think it's the suspension bushings on the lower front, but I'm too lazy to doublecheck right now.

Yea i was thinking it might be one of the bushings.
Is there a chance that it could be something else?

Possible it's always something else (maybe the top strut mounts), but I search on here alot and that seems to be a common issue. The only thing I don't know is if the bushings are the same for the AWD as they are for the Coupe and Sedan 2WD.

Always sucks trying to find info on parts for the X.

Used to have it on stock suspension.. my problem was compression rods. They went at about 40k.. have the dealer or a shop check the compression rods.

Does the rear have compression rods? I had the fronts replaced awhile back under Infiniti warrenty.

This freaking squeaking/ creaking sound is so annoying!!!!
I didn't have this sound b4 I got my coils on.

Anybody got any idea what the sound might be?

There are only compression rods in the front.

+1 the spring could be bouncing around and/or not seated right.

it you didn't have a noise and now have a noise AFTER installing brand new coilovers, its a greater chance of the bolts being loose or something mis-adjusted on your end then a bushing failing on the spot. I recommend you take everything off and redoing them. you said its in the rear so its a lot more easier to do.

I can knock out rears in about an hour

update:
I had the coils look at.
The preload was tight and well seated. no problem with the spring. We tighten all the bolts.
The gold ring where you lower or raise the coils was loose.! that was making all the rattling sound. Easy problem solved.!
