Wetsanding Headlights

Wetsanding Headlights
Its been a few years since I wetsandded headlights on my car, and I have a four day weekend coming, so I wanted to get it out of the way. I searched the forum and found one thread on it, but the instructions aren't consistent.
Anyone have good instructions or a link to a DIY? That way if I posted in the wrong spot we can delete this thread.
I just can't remember what grit sand paper I used, or the polish that I need. I just dont want to leave a bunch of scratches on my headlights.
Thanks in advance guys!

if its just buildup/yellowing on the outside of the headlight, pickup a bottle of PlastX from any autoparts store. The stuff is amazing and requires little effort for big results. Your headlights will look brand new after.

hahaha I guess it could be worse here. I'm just used to it hitting close to 100 degrees here by now. but hey I can't complain, the heat out here is ridiculous, nothing compare to other places but when you get in your car and its 110 inside, not fun when your jumping in after a swim or in a tanktop after the gym.

So we finally got a break from the rain here. You would have never thought that it was pouring rain for 4 hours straight by the looks of the weather and the ground in the background.
