I own a meter. I needed it for work actually but I check windows all the time with it for myself or friends.


It makes sense because the g35 windows measure 78% without tint. So toss 35% film on tinted glass and it will read darker.

Plus there is math you can use. .78 x .35 = .273 = 27% and that is what the meter reads.


Toss 20% film on and its .78 x .20 = .156 = 15%

 

The PoPo tell me it's 8%... Now I roll down my windows when i see them

in VA tint violation is considered a class 3 misdemeanor which means no jail time only a fine. Most people i know that have been pulled over for tint have just been given a warning. Thats what the cop gave me. The limit in VA is 35% on the rear windows and 50% on the front windows which are some $h!tty laws. 20% all around looks damn good and im not taking it off lol

cops that have pulled me over, never noticed my windshield tint. Its the best thing I ever done. I'm surprised not many people do this, since majority of the heat comes from the front windshield.

Just got 35% all around except windshield last weekend. Makes a huge difference in the look and it keeps the car nice and cool. Best investment ever.

 

I have an appt. to get mine done tomorrow. I'm going for 25% all around except windshield. I'll post picks when it's done.
