Hey all,

Will 16' rims fit on a 2006 G35x sedan? I have an old set of snow tires in great condition I'd like to re-purpose for my G.

I was told by TireRack that 16' rims won't fit on my car. I was told by Town Fair Tire - who I don't really trust - that 16' rims *will* fit on the sedan, but not on the coupe, due to the larger brakes.

Does anyone know? Has anyone used 16' rims on a G?

Thanks!

Wish it was that simple. They're (the snow tires) currently sitting on 16' rims, but the lug pattern is for a Saab. I could eyeball it, but I want to know for sure before purchasing a set.

Sedan has the same brakes as 06 coupes.

As far as I know most 16 wheels won't fit due to clearance of the 12.6 inch front brakes. I believe 17 is minimum. I looked into 16 in steel wheels for my 06 for snow tires as well and came to the conclusion that it won't work.

I ran 16" rims on my 05 G35X Sedan with no problem but I think they went with bigger brakes in 06 so they might not clear.
