So coilovers are the way to go? Do you need to do any adjustments with coiloovers like you need with springs? Yeah the 350z springs look awesome, i don't have sport suspension though!

At the minimum coilovers will allow you to adjust the ride height of your car. Many coilovers also allow for dampening adjustment (stiffness) as well. Coilovers replace your stock springs and shocks. You'll definitely want a rear camber kit as well.

Many people start out by dropping their car on springs and eventually they want to go lower (or they blow out their stock shocks) and end up with coilovers. I was no different, I only wanted a 1" drop so I got Eibach springs and Tokico shocks. Should have listened and just gotten coilovers from day one, would have been cheaper overall.

you dont need a sport suspension, only thing is your shocks will wear out faster, not sure how much quicker.
im on z/coupe springs atm and i like it. gives it a more staggered look. i do want to go lower but living in san diego it makes it difficult.

Get all oem suspension off a 04.5 or newer 350z (springs/shocks/struts)

That's what I'm on (pics in my garage)

Nice, cheap way to lower the car and keep a good ride.

I started off thinking I just wanted a small drop like Candlestick. So I put on Tein H Techs last year, S Techs last week, and now I am thinking I will probably go with coils later this year. You just can't beat the adjustment capability and variable damping availability.

Save yourself some money in the long run and look at coils.

Damn it !!!! I wish this forum had a search function. That way you could have found your answer without making a new thread. Oh well....

The Eibach G35 sedan Pro-Kit was developed on a non sport suspended car, if you want a spring only mod, start their. It is the only spring other then maybe oem unrevised 350Z springs I'd run on a non sport sedan.

Otherwise the only way your question can be answered so that you stand the best chance of getting what you really want is to get more info.

These are all question's that a honest online shop or brick and motar store would ask before taking your money.

1. Set your budget
a) What I like to spend?
b) What is the most I would spend?

2. What do you want?
a) Do you really think you'll need to adjust height?
b) Do you really need the ability to adjust damping, realistically most that have it, set it and forget it.
c) How much drop will make you happy, give a min and max amount?
d) ^Have you factored in the cost to bring the car back within oem alignment specs if you need to?
e) Ride quality, thinking about where you drive the car every day, do you want bumps and the ruff stuff to be well absorbed and dampned out?
f) Performance, do you want sharper turn in, less brake dive and less squat? How much of {e)} are you willing to give up to get it?
g) If after answering the above quesition's, should a shock and or spring setup be found to meet your needs, can that be suggested? (You could also consider spending the money saved on F&R sways or upgraded tires)

3. Brand?
a) What brand names do you like and trust?
b) What brand names should not be discussed

ok I can only thnk of one shop that might ask question 3
