Alarm.... pretty vague. Factory, aftermarket, company, features..... this information can probably get you a better answer.

it really depends if it's aftermarket or not. If it's not aftermarket, you probably have a bad door sensor (or some sort of sensor). I've had this happen on my car, except my effects were different. The car is set to automatically re-lock itself after 60 seconds if you unlock the car and don't open a door... so because the car didn't know the door was being opened.. it locked my keys in the car while it was running -_- .... I had started it to let it warm up.

I'd look into this being a possibility.. if there is a faulty sensor, that would likely cause the alarm to go off randomly.

My car did some really weird things recently, like when I tried to start the car the horn would just start blaring like the alarm was going off. I found out my battery needed to be replaced. Apparently once the battery goes below a certain voltage, according to the guy at Inifniti, it resets a bunch of things on the car. Once we replaced it all the problems were gone. Not sure if that's it for you, but who knows.

I just bought an 03 Sedan and mine is doing the same thing. It had a viper alarm on it but I'm using the factory alarm instead. Not that I dont like Viper, I just dont know how it was installed and don't trust what other people may have done with the wiring.

I will try the hood sensor. Is it an obvious hood pin or is it hidden somewhere?

My garage is under the house and I keep the fob in my pocket... Just working around the house I've occasionally found the G's windows all lowered and actually set off the alarm the other day because the buttons were getting pressed. Don't sit on your fob!

Um yeah captain obvious?? Whats your point? I'm pretty sure me and the others that are having problems with our alarms would have checked that first.....
