I wanna lease in SoCal!
I wanna lease in SoCal!
Hi all, a newbie here, hope some kind soul can help me out.
Here's what I'm looking for:
a 48-month lease (12,000 miles/yr.) with nothing down (only the "drive off"), assume best creditworthiness,
on a 2003.5 automatic transmission G35 Sedan,
with Luxury Leather package,
Brilliant Silver with Graphite Leather,
Winter Package, Premium Package, Wood Package,
Body-Color Splash Guards (4-piece set), and
Trunk Mat w/Full Size Spare Tire.
Carsdirect.com quotes a price to buy of $31,461.
I have a lease quote from a non-dealer of $469/mo. including everything, which seems seriously high. I told the guy I've spoken with at Infiniti of Santa Monica and he said not to bother coming in, they can't beat it. Can anyone point me toward someone who can beat this quote, or is this quote about right? Thanks very much! -- Jordan

Sounds good to me.

Aside from Edmund's other resources on car values and reviews, in the townhall forums under Financing, Warranty, and Insurance there's a discussion called Lease Questions - Ask Here. If you read a few posts, you'll quickly discover that the host, who calls himself Car_Man, provides manufacturer's lease rates to anyone who asks (residuals and money factors).
That should arm you with enough information to convince yourself whether or not that price is good, bad, or average.
