lost. 19's or 20's
I know this may seem like a dumb question to some of you but i am a guy transitioning from jdm hondas to an amazing g35. i am getting wheels and i want it to sit perfect. i am planning on really dropping it maybe 3 inches on springs ( and yes there is 3" springs) so now the question is 19's or 20's. i want it to sit perfect yet ride smooth. any suggestions
ok first. i want to know what springs will drop the sedan 3 inches.
i have not seen these.
and i would do 20s. i think they look better than 19s. and tires for 19s are more expensive

What springs drop our sedans 3 inches? PLEASE PLEASE dont say by cutting them someone coming from a "jdm honda" would say that.
And id go with the 19s, if you want to do 20s keep in mind your guna sacrifice ride quality due to the profile of the tire and also due to the suspension your guna be running. Now if you were guna go with some coils with different dampning set ups it would be diffrent. I rode on 350 s.techs for a while ride quality was horrible.
Oh and if you want your rims sit flush or perfectly with that 3inch drop wether 19s or 20s, your going to have to roll your fenders

Even IF you find springs to drop a sedan 3" you can't drop it that much on oem shocks, they'll be blown in no time... coils are the answer you're looking for.
That said, once you're that low, might as well go with 20s

Seeing that the suspension only has ~3 inches of upward travel, you'll effectively get rid of all wheel travel. Sounds safe. You do realize that adding big rims and crazy drop turns a great handling sports sedan into a wet noodle.
