Got a nice offer for 17" Rotas. Wondering if anyone is riding on custom 17" wheels and could share pics of them. Want to see what if they fill out nicely.

Thanks in advance.

17's fill the arches like a midget in Paris Hilton. LOTS OF GAP.

In order to pull off 17's, you really need the right tire combo, style of wheel, offset, and suspension. What kind of Rota is it?

Lol. Yeah that is why I wanted to see if anyone else pulled it off.

These are it:

Friend of a friend has them on a Z and has upgrading. I still have my factory 17s on but for $450 and no tire change, wanted to see if it was worth it. Perfect condition. I think he had them on for 6 month.

My G is black and the rims are black as well BTW.

No... especially not on a coupe.

17s AND Rotas is stacking two kinds of fail.

I'm glad I'm FINALLY going to be able to get rid of my OEM 17s

Cool thanks all,

To pull off 17's on a coupe, I suggest a wheel where the spoke comes all the way to the lip. Something like the Rota Torque.

not a popular choice around here, but i have aftermarket 17s, I didn't buy them for the G, I just had them from my rsx...on the plus side I doubt many people on here have lighter DD rims on their cars (15.6lbs) they are kosei ks-t1 17x8 +35 w/ 235/50 F 255/45 R with full revised 350z suspension.

as far as rotas go, I've owned a couple of sets, I don't think they are as fragile as people say but the finishes just don't look right and my second set had bubbles and imperfections on it...I wouldn't buy another set unless if was just for a track car or something

just do yourself a favor and get 18s because everyone on here will complain if you get 17s

the thing I don't really get is that one of the G's biggest problems is weight and light wheels are an easy way to reduce weight, more importantly unsprung weight, subtracting 8lbs per wheel probably does more then most of the bolt ons you can buy, plus the fact that you get a better ride and better traction off the line

enkei RPF-1 in 18" with a great offset and a meaty tire would look so sexy on a DG Sedan
