I notice that with the coupe middy, it sounds nice at around 40-45 mph with rpm at about 2500. With the hr- middy does it still sound nice at around that area also or is there drone?

 

with HR it sounds deeper overall

Hey I'm new here but let me know how it went. My resonator is finished and my car sounds like **** because of it. I don't have the tool or knowledge to do this myself but my garage will do it for me if it doesn't need too much custom fitting. If you DIY it would be kinda cool to take pics.

So to recap, the 05 midpipe is a direct bolt on in the 04 sedans? just take the suitcase resonator out and replace with the 05 coupe midpipe?

If this is correct all i need to do now is find a 05 coupe midpipe... or will other years fit too?

 

Will a 04 coupe midpipe be also bolt on?

 

^Yes, 03-07 coupe midpipes bolt on to 03-06 Sedans.

 

that reminds me, someone bought my coupe mid pipe, I have to pack it this weekend!

Don't tell anyone, but I swapped my 05 and 06's exhaust systems with each other, just so I could claim they weren't stock.
