my car smells like s*%t

so i been smelling this on my car and have no idea what it is. it happens sometimes when i turn on the air, i turn it on and like after a couple of minutes i get dis nasty smell like idk what, but den it goes away. sometimes it also happens without turning it on. can somebody give me an idea what could it be?

In cabin air filter needs to be changed out I bet.

Seriously...guys have posted pics of finding dead mice in there. Change your cabin air filter.

i agree with changing Cabin Filter.
it its hella Rank, i wouldnt be surprised if you found evidence of a Mouse/Rat.

like the others have said, change the filter. We found a dead mouse in the filter in my brothers lexus before

my wifes 08 jetta has same prob when air kicks on,VW told us when they changed the filter they found it had mildew'd..could the cause of your smelly car as well

i too found a mouse nest(no mouse)behind my timing cover(where the little square shaped opening is)..i shop vac'd straw,grass,string,fur and some other sh*t too lol..guess previous owner kept it in a barn or something
