Had my CD player replaced when it froze up and wouldn't release my CDs. Six weeks later and I still didn't have my discs back so I insisted the dealer contact Clarion. They were told that the player was empty! Anyone else deal with this kind of nonsense?

BTW having read posts about CD-Rs being a possible cause I never listened to them in my car. So that sure wasn't the problem...

I FEEL your pain. My CD player threw the dreded
CD ERROR F0 as well. I kept on jacking around with
it while waiting for the dealer to get the new one.
I was able to get the POS to eject all 6 before it
was swapped. Those Bast*rds!

FUDGE!! NOT GOOD! I had my CD player replaced last week. When they told me they needed to send out the CD player to get the CDs removed I was in shock. I asked them if I could just take the unit home and remove the CDs myself. They wouldn't allow that. The CDs I have in there are probably worth more than the crappy disc changer. I need to remember to stop putting my out of print material in there. I hope I get them back!

Update: Happy ending! Turns out dealer had them but Clarion misidentified them (wrong customer name). Moral to the story: If I hadn't pushed the dealer to check into the issue I'd still be waiting (this after six long weeks)...
