spacer question

so currently running g35 sedan sport rims 2nd gen, the offset is
Front: +45
rear: +50

if i want the coupe offset i would need 15mm front and 20 mm rear correct? any other tools i may need when getting spacers?

also, would this be my better choice or should i have my tires a little more in?

You must also consider the widths of the wheels when doing this calculation.

The 2nd Gen Sedan wheels are:
Front: 18x7.5 +45mm offset
Rear: 18x8.5 +50mm offset

The Coupe 19s are:
Front: 19x8 +30
Rear: 19x8.5+33

Fronts are 21mm more agressive, rears are 17mm more agressive. So to get close to the Coupe specs (without exceeding them) you would need to run 20mm spacers up front and 15mm spacers out back.

ahh ok, but based on what i was thinking i was planning on running the coupe 18s style.. thought they were 18x8 +30 all around... unless they are +33 on the rear. but regardless will use the mm spacers u told me.
thanks

the offset to my understanding are
18.8 +30 all around

wouldnt it be 20mm in the rear, but what about the front? i doubt it its 15mm

from what i know is u have to take into consideration the front width of the sedan vs coupe

coupe is 18x8 +30 all around so 20mm in the front would fit more flush than 15mm

another member here (kevcog35) is running 20mm all around and this is what he has
this is the specs on his wheels
Sport Model (2005-2006)
Front & Rear: 18x7.5 +45mm offset

I have the same wheels and am running 235/45/18 tires and 10mm spacers on front, 15mm on rear. When I got the new tires on, the guy accidentally put the 15mm spacers up front and it looked really goofy (not including looking at the rear), but 15mm looked like too much for the front.....?

This is the only pic I have right now. I'll get my camera back from my ex tomorrow and try to upload.

Though I'll try to take some camera phone pics in the meantime...

hmm... i may need 15s in the front instead of 20... but for my rears i think 20mm will fit flush...
The 2nd Gen Sedan wheels are:
Front: 18x7.5 +45mm offset
Rear: 18x8.5 +50mm offset

gcoupe 18s are 18x8 +30 all around
i will test 1 spacer on each side wheel lol!
