New member, intro/questions...
Just picked up my 2003 Sedan 114k miles 5AT, this past week, and Im in love! Im from the Houston/Galveston TX area...

I also own a motorcycle forum similar to g35driver that is houston based.
I just had my windows tinted 5% all the way around with a brow.. As you can see I like black.
Later on down the road Im looking into black wheels or something polished...who knows. I havent taken interior shots yet but its Willow (I think) and the interior is 10/10 minus the front seats, they will need to be recovered(for my taste). I didnt buy the car for the performance(I have the bikes for speed), but mainly for the comfort and looks. Now for the questions (and Ill have more as I go)
1. The bottom trim, is it faded? or was it always gray? Anyone paint their's black?
2. Even though Im not all about speed with this car, Id like to run a set of e-cut outs with my stock exhaust system....which ones should I go with, and what location should I put them?
3. Been reading about intakes, Z-tube etc... anymore specific info? Where to buy?
4. My front seats need replacing, where is the best place/price to buy the new skins?
5. My 2003 is a non sat radio model, the cd player itself isnt working(Im hearing alot of electronic motors noises from it) and Id like to be able to use my iphone's ipod functions with my car anyhow. Im guessing Ill need the Metra kit for a new DD a/v system? hows the quality? Id like to keep everything as OEM looking as possible....
6. My "cubby's" vinyl is peeling back (as Ive seen on several other g35's) anyways to fix this properly without taking apart the whole dash to take the cubby out?
7. What all do I need to know about owning this car? Squeaks and rattles I should know about etc?
Thanks in advance, Ive been lurking here for the past few weeks and like what I see!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase!
1. yes, folks with 03-04 paint theirs to match, or get aftermarket side skirts
2. See sticky about exhaust in the sedan section
3. You can get a Z-tube used/cheap off marketplace or ebay. As far as intake filter, many go with JWT pop charger, amsoil, stillen, or modified stock. Just do a search
4. Not sure about this one...
5. They make a nissan ipod integration kit for a few hundred bucks, maybe this is what youre looking for, as far as on OEM solution.
6. If youre talking about the one in the center counsol, im not sure since i have a nav.
7. Most issues set in once you lower your car and change the geometry of the suspension...if you are planning to do so anyway. Most clicks/rattles are suspension-related i feel, and can be fixed by replacing components (bushings, tie rods, compression rods, etc)

^G35xChicago has you covered pretty good, but I'll fill in the gaps.
1. Paint them, I did mine, never looked back.
4. IDK about skins, but you might want to be on the lookout for coupe seats, they're a lot better than the sedan ones. Quite a few sedan drivers have already done this upgrade, so there's plenty of info to be found on the swap.
5. If you want a DD kit, the JDM DD is OEM and looks and fits OEM. The metra will do, but isn't as good. Also, FYI, your CD changer is probably not shutting off, so if you leave your car parked for a couple days, it may very well drain the battery completely.
6. Are you talking about the upper glove box?
7. Make sure the car sits for at least 40 mins before you try to check the oil, or you will not get an accurate reading. I can't really think of much off the top of my head, but browse this site, there's tons of useful info.

^I tore into mine and literally gutted the CD changer right out of it.
I've just been using the tape deck with an adapter and my MP3 player until I get my DD setup ready to go.
As for the upper glove box, you'll need to take it out to re-glue it, I haven't done mine yet, but I need to really badly.
