Marcus thanks for the link. Also the DDM ballasts/bulbs have been great. Life time warranty too I think. I have the 55w which is kinda loud, but bright as hell.

How did you mount your ballasts. E_K suggested that I get 55W ballasts and bulbs if I wanted mine to be brighter. If they mount in the OEM location I might consider it.

So what you are saying is that I can only use my top as a fog. What I would want to do is use my top as my low beam like normal and use the bixenon as fog/high.

If that said, I will just shop for a s2k projector and hit u up when I get them.

The problem with tryin to use the bixenon as a fog/hi is that when you hit the hi beam the bcm tell the fog to turn off. The fog powers the ballast and the hi just powers the solenoid to raise the cutoff so when u turn on hi the cutoff will move but power for ballast will shut off. Only option around that is to get the fog module from kptechnologies to give independent control of power for fog

I have the slim 35w ballast from ddm tuning powering my drls. Its so small tha I have it ziptied to the oem ballast and it fits in the headlight mount hole perfect. Any thicker and it wouldn't work. I have my s2k up top as my low beam. My lower bixenon is my drl and I have a switch inside that is powered when the ignition is on.

So I dont have to use bixenon in the lower. I could just use like a tsx on the bottom, dont really need a high beam since I would have two projectors

If it was me and ur not worried bout using a bixenon down low would b to put the q45 like jamesondale has and depending on ur bumper throw a set aftermarket projectors in the bumper wit hids for the fogs. That would give u six projectors wit hids. That's my plan if I go wit the nismo replica or rookie front

I would love to do the q45 but they are rare or really expensive. I have the nismo front. Not sure where I could put fogs and still look good.

Since I am not worried about the fog/hi feature, I may just do TSX projectors on botton and the Lexus w/TSX-R lense up top to have quads. Thoughts?

Would just the two projector sets and 2 sets of shrouds. What does GSedan have up top??

r1forever80: How long would it take to just put in TSX projectors into the top low beam location and nothing else done to the headlights? I assume i can use the eBay headlights anyways, since they will be modded anyways since i don't wanna touch the real lights.

Marcus I placed my ballast on the subframe of the car. Under the headlight to the right.

My passenger side is on my water tank, strapped by a few zip ties, and heavy duty double sided tape, it's not goin anywhere, very snug, and easy to check from the fender well.
Driver side is strapped to my oem, same way and not moving.

You'd be surprised man, I've seen them at junk yards for $100 a pair, they're not that popular as far as retrofiting goes...since the performance isn't up to par with the looks.

I have S2k up top and TL down low. The TL on the bottom is my low beam and high beam, and the S2k up top is wired to my fogs. However, the couple times I drove at night, I just have all 4 on. So it really doesn't matter how I wired it, I'd have all 4 on anyway. I still wanted to retain my high beams, just because its a feature I'd like to retain when driving through the mountains or just warning/signaling people still
