Minor 06x Curb Debacle...
So I had a few drinks at dinner and suggested to my girlfriend that she drive my car home... We stopped at Dairy Queen because she wanted some ice cream. Instead of pulling into the entrance she jumped the curb 10 feet prior to the entrance. I was surprised the car made it over the curb as it was a high one (4-6 inches) but it made a very loud bang (obviously). I checked out the front end no scraping or apparent tire damage, I drove the car home and everything felt fine. This morning I gave the car a going over on the way to work and everything feels normal. Anything I should check specifically or have someone look at the tires to ensure no minor damage was done that could turn into something major? Thanks for your advice...
FYI: I also just had an alignment done and that still feels pretty good as well. Hard to tell with the windy CT roads...

i assume your girlfriend is now an ex? that kinda thing is a deal breaker.
but seriously - i might be concerned about the alignment or suspension on whatever corner hit the curb. i suppose something could be bent. you'll have to judge how hard the hit was and if a visit to a reputable suspension shop is in order.

Jeez, jumped an entire curb!? Is your oil pan still there?
I would be mostly concerned with a bent wheel and/or suspension parts. Just do a visual inspection and try to pay attention for any unusual pulling or noises while driving. Might also drop it by an alignment shop to have them check the specs. Maybe you lucked out.
Definitely wouldn't let her drive the car anymore though...for the health of you and your car.
