installing motordyne 5/16 copper plenum spacer tomorrow

I'm installing a motordyne 5/16 copper plenum spacer tomorrow, basically later today. Don't have a torque wrench and was wondering if its worth buying one just for this job or if I should try to borrow one or something? Also I've read through the instructions and can't figure out the copper tb heater placement or installation. I've looked through all of the DIY videos on plenum spacer installs but can't find one that includes the copper tb heater install. Anyone have any pictures of videos of it?

yes definatly get the tq wrence. and make sure its inch pounds not foot pounds. to many people on here have snapped bolts doing this install. its very easy and people make so many mistakes with over tightening the bolts

if you have a harbor freight near buy, I think I got mine for 10-15 bucks.

yeah, harbor freight is the best, 10 -15 bucks, also the TB install is very easy. If you get it wrong it wont go on. It will come with instructions, that is really all you need. Took me about 1 hour for both installs.

if you read the md directions, you only need a leather glove and a nut driver. You feel a little like michael jackson with one glove on, but it worked like a champ

I did mine without it, no problems here. I don't recommend you try it though unless you have a good feel for tightening small bolts.

Get the TW. You'll use it in other installs, believe me on that one!
