well, my first problem in 4 years!!!

my 05 G35x has developed a load truck tire noise from the front area (wheel bearing, I think) Kinda strange as when I purchased the car 4 years ago they replaced the right side under warranty and now at 112k miles the other side is prolly gone! anyone else have a similar problem and is it expensive?

Yes

Had same problem on my 05x @ about same mileage/ Just make sure you order correct bearing ( different than RWD's ) check Riverside and any decent machine shop should be able to press it for you.

ouch... yea i didn't see one for the AWD.

RWD fronts are with HUB is only $212 and its just a bolt-in type of thing. I found RWD bearings for the rear for $50. $290 for the front is rape.

What mileage do the bearings usually go out at?

If you can buy the bearing and hub pressed together already, you can DIY. Otherwise, buy the bearing and bring it to a shop. Cost me $130 for labor and I can't remember how much the part was, but I did buy it from the stealership.
