Can the stock brakes be adjusted so that the calipers/pads all sit in the same spot on all four wheels.. If that makes sense.. Like when you're stopped, the calipers are at 10-11 o'clock on the front and 2-3 o'clock on the rears.. Can all 4 sit at the same position?

JBF Sep 13, 2010 01:18 PM

^ I dont think so...

that would mean custom spindles and brackets...too much money for what its worth imho

Abax84 Sep 13, 2010 02:53 PM

^Hmm ok Im thinking about painting the calipers and polishing the rotors and thought I might be able to adjust them while I was at it.. Too bad, it would look better.

lox1985 Sep 13, 2010 03:24 PM

^^^what do you use to polish rotors?

Swivel Sep 13, 2010 03:25 PM

A rotor-y polisher!

Hahaha, I slay me...

Abax84 Sep 13, 2010 03:29 PM

Yeah I use a a rotor-y polisher lolol.. got one off ebay for $3.. make all your brakes are better than BBk! - gotta love some of the descriptions on ebay

No I was just planning on using some steel wool or sand paper, i meant polish as in clean them and scrub off the rust..

lox1985 Sep 13, 2010 03:33 PM

any particular brand?

lox1985 Sep 13, 2010 03:34 PM

gotcha, i just never heard of such a thing. I usually just scrub mine from the rust

Hey whats the rule of thumb for exhaust diameter? Should it get progressively bigger away from the cats? I ask because i may get a 350z middy and will have to fab an extension and dont want any rasp.

lox1985 Sep 13, 2010 04:09 PM

^^i have 350z middy and I got the Nizmo extension and no rasp what so ever.

alexh521 Sep 13, 2010 04:14 PM
