Yeah...in this case, that might be a good idea.

Definitely have it inspected by Infiniti. FilmG's 04 needed some work too that we couldn't see just by a visual inspection. Ended up getting him some $$ off the car that probably wouldn't have happened before.

I hope this isn't some kind of BS or bait n switch thingy.

I called the dealer and there was no answer. I even e-mailed them twice yesterday and got no response...

It seems like one of those small independently owner kind of places, but...I hope I at least get a call back soon.

89k miles is relatively high for an '07, but it's not that high for this type of car in general. If it were me, I'd go drive it and see how it feels.

The price is definitely right. Even given the mileage, that price is a lot lower than KBB retail. For that reason, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a bogus ad.

8k miles a year means you know drive enough or very far at all... no offense. I have 15 mile one way commute to work and have been daily driving the g for a good 6 months because my brother was driving my commuter camry. I use the highway for commuting, non-stop traffic from onramp to offramp, and when visiting the family in fresno cali (about 160 mile drive one way). So far i will have averaged 20k miles a year, and i'd thought that i was doing a lot of driving... my car still looks and drive newer than some people's 07-08 cars (regular maintenance and cleaning). so yeah, even when it's a high mileage car, if it is well taken care of, it's still a potentially good vehicle... it may not help you now but you can use this info for the future...

Yeah, work for the past few years has only been about a 15-20 minute drive. Ever so often, I will drive a bit more on the weekends, but, I've been lucky that I haven't had really long commutes over a short period of time.

The longest commute for a job I think was probably 20 miles, 30 minutes one-way, and that was only for a 4 month period.

If the car is an '07 and has that many miles on it, do you really think they would be city miles? If they are, that guy has nothing better to do than drive around all day. When I bought my first new car back in '98 it was a VW Jetta and I put 38K on it in one year (yes...all highway miles).

i bought mine with 90k on the clock, took it to infiniti dealer for the free check up, they had no issues and service records from previous owner so i bought it

cars last as long as they are maintained, 175k on the OD is where u should start worrying lol

The seller must just be a little busy. Test drive it, see how it feel, have it inspected and look at the Car-fax. If after all that you like it, get it. Your insurance company sells extended warranty. If the car was originally purchase in a city like Atlanta, I would not be surprise by the mileage. September is the beginning month for car. So You could by a new car inn August and that will have the next year make.
Anyway, good luck and stop worrying too much.
