Need help with 2007 G35 with high mileage!
I was looking around on craigslist and a local dealer is selling an 2007 G35x for $15,400.
Specs:
-89,000 miles (highway).
-Premium package
-Clean carfax
-clear title
http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/ctd/1863514155.html
Now, the mileage scares me. Is the price justified along with the mileage? Should I even bother with mileage so high? How much should I expect to spend on maintenance now and how much longer will this car last?
I only average about 8,000 miles/yr BTW...
I still really want to check the car out...am I wasting my time?

If the seller has service records that would be good. I mean 89k is really nothing for these cars as long as it been maintained, if you do buy it change all the fluids on the car transmission, both front and rear differential oils and coolant.
You're talking about a radiator and transmission flush?
Correct.

Probably owned by an older couple who traveled (judging by options, year, and miles) and was probably babied. I'd definitely take a look at it. Looks clean and not beat up.
If you're seriously interested, I would take a look at the big picture and negotiate for a much lower price based on the possibility of replacing the spark plugs, tranny fluid, coolant and other recommended services at the 90K mark.
Don't forget, everybody claims highway miles.
These cars are fairly popular with real estate agent types who making a good impression and driving a lot of the job.

Let us know... that thing looks super clean. if the seller will allow it have it taken to the nearest infiniti dealer for a once over.... it might cost 100 bucks or so but will be worth the peace of mind, it also may give you barganing room based on what they come up with....
