Shopping Spacers need advice
Among all the other projects I am working on my 3 month old G I need spacers to install my Rays 370Z wheels, whats the best I notice lots of guys run Ichiba V2's but there are so many CZP, Project Kics, H&R. I seem to keep missing the deals out there on used spacer (CandelStickPark) Is it best to go new or is used ok? I am not looking to spend 200 bucks but I dont wanna half *** the job either. I will be running 2006 350Z vert springs that had 600 miles on them when they were pulled off until I save up for a proper set of coilovers. Help a brotha out feel free to post links to great deals as well. Oh my car was a pampered 04X 138K on the clock when I picked her up and unmolested no mods what so ever. Thanks guys....
I watched on this forum and Craigslist for used Ichiba V2's... I got tired of waiting so I bought some new ones. I shopped around online and the least expensive ones were from a Sponsor on this forum! B2autodesigns
Used spacers, as with most used parts, are kinda hit and miss. Depends on who has what FS when you have the need for them. Sorry you missed out on the extra sets I had.

Don't go cheap with spacers....go for quality irregardless of cost.
Remember, spacers add stress to your lugs. Cheap spacers can use inferior materials, machning practices or tolerances. The danger here is the added stress to the lugs can potentially snap them. I have seen it happen plenty of times firsthand.
So if you are bent on running spacers, shop for the best quality set you can find.

Thanks guys I think I am just going to order new, looks like V2 is the safest route to go also, Yea man I been around for a min I was on the fence with this car and TL type S at the time and ended up waiting it out for a 05 Legacy GT. Here I am back 7 years later.

Why would you say a bolt on is better than a non bolt on spacer in conjunction with longer studs? And longer studs probably wouldnt work with a bolt on because not many wheels have that much space inside the flange for a longer stud....some barely have room for the oem studs. With longer studs and a spacer there is one less link in the chain. At least i know with my longer studs and non bolt on spacer my wheel is completely secure to the hub.

Wouldnt the bolton's be more secure bolting the spacers to the car then the wheels to the spacers? Maybe not to think about it. If the spacer's bolts fail then the wheel comes off vice getting spacers with extended studs? Maybe it depends on your particular driving habits and needs and usage of them possibly.

you guys are very confusing, lol.
arent the spacers that replace your factory wheels studs the best/safest route? versus those that use the factory studs and then have their own studs. i just want my spacers to be that, a spacer, not a support for the wheel.
