03 trunk on 04

will a trunk lid from a 03 work on my 04. i know the 03 has the doggy door. that would get shaved. but will the latch and everything else work without having to do modifacation ?

yep, my Wife has a non-doggy trunk. it's all the same inside, minus the handle hardware

If you're getting a doggy door trunk and then shaving it, why not just keep the 04? Sounds kinda counterproductive.

becuase i am getting the 03 trunk so that i can mold the trunk lip that i made into it without having down time on my car.

Put the doggy door lid on your car and use your OEM to get molded. Would prob save you some money too since you wouldnt have to get the door shaved.

well im doing the work myself. so its all free. i am about done with the lip and i have everything to do the doggy door already
