I turned on my car last night only to hear this weird noise. Sounds like it's coming from underneath the dash. I noticed that when I turn my fan on, it stops, and if I turn it off and wait a moment, the noise comes back. So random...

I'm not sure how to edit the video, but I'm referring to the first 10 seconds of the video.

 

Is something caught in your fan? Does the sound change with different fan speeds?

 

I doubt it, since it happens when I don't have the fan on. Also the fan is by the glove box I believe, and the noise seems like its coming from underneath the clock. I was thinking about seeing whether or not a CD is stuck or something, but I don't do anything to trigger it from moving a CD.
