Re: I have a PROBLEM!!
Before you drive another inch CHECK YOUR OIL. If it has enough oil drive to the dealer and get your car checked. I assume you meant the last oil change was 1,700 miles ago?

Re: I have a PROBLEM!!
I talked to them again today and they said they will be replacing the fuel injector in cylinder number 6, they think it was misfireingand they said thats why the car is shaking. Let you no whats up when they put it in.
Re: I have a PROBLEM!!
I'm glad to hear your problem is fixed. From what I have read, the MIL only has to do with emission problems.
The malfunction indicator lamp will come
on in one of two ways:
Malfunction indicator lamp on steady
An emission control system malfunction has been detected. Check the fuel filler cap. If the fuel filler cap is loose or missing, tighten or install the cap and continue to drive the vehicle. The lamp should turn off after a few driving trips. If the lamp does not turn off after a few driving trips, have the vehicle inspected by an INFINITI dealer. You do not need to have your vehicle towed to the retailer.
Malfunction indicator lamp blinking
An engine misfire has been detected which may damage the emission control system. To reduce or avoid emission
control system damage:
a) Do not drive at speeds above 45 MPH (72 km/h).
b) Avoid hard acceleration or deceleration.
c) Avoid steep uphill grades.
d) If possible, reduce the amount of cargo being hauled or towed.
The malfunction indicator lamp may stop blinking and come on steady. Have the vehicle inspected by an INFINITI dealer. You do not need to have your vehicle towed to the retailer.

I have similiar problem but a lot worse. When reaching speeds above 60 MPH the whole car shakes so much that I can't focus on the gauges. It looks like a blur till I slow down below 60 MPH. I think it might be my snow tires with some ice stuck in between the threads and frozen there cause it's 5 degrees outside. I drove it for about 20 miles and still shakes, then I thought it might be the engine mounts but the car doesn't shake when I accelerate from 0 to 60 it's only when I go past 60 MPH. I guess I should make an appointment or should I just wait till the weather to get warmer?
