Yep, I just tucked the headlight harneses (ones that go over the fender wells). For sure can add up quick and get pricey but all the bling looks so good
I sold off a few pieces (SxExCx quality work) and did up some OEM pieces mixed with some aftermarket ones and shiny bolts/nuts..paint...blah blah.

If you are up to it I would suggest polishing the Timing Cover yourself. There aren't many folks that know how to do a swap properly and it will cost you more than you pay for a polished timing cover for the labor on the swap.
Its not a project you can tackle in one weekend but if you are patient it will come out very nice. bigc polished his by hand and you can't even tell he polished it while it was on the car. Came out excellent.

Totally like how you are thinking - I'm the same way. Don't show my car but seem to have a lot of bling. I just like it.
You can do a bunch of simple things immediately like getting rid of OEM harness brackets and the plastic zip ties. There is a wire harness cover (Rare JDM) common for the top of the timing cover that cleans up the look.
Here's one site I have used a few times. The wire harness cover is listed in here.

I like seeing polished plenums and timing covers but ceramic coatings or engine enamel can look just as nice IMO. Paint the plastic reservoirs and just these few things go a really long way.

I got the polished Throttle Body in the photo above from SxExCx - he does good work.
