Make Engine Look Nicer?

I see alot of pictures of peoples G35's engines with out the plastic cover on them. There engines are all chromed out with different parts and accessories. I dont know a whole lot about automotive mechanics so im not sure exactly what the parts these people are buying are called. I am a heavy duty mechanic but working on farm equipment and semi's is little different. What are some common mods people do to make there engines look much neater? If any one can help me out by linking me to these websites or explaining to me what some of the mods are would me greatly appreciated! I just want a sweet looking engine!

Doesn't the engine look pretty clean already? It's got a cover over the whole thing! Only reason I would advise you not to mod this way is because it can get pricey for no reason unless you're planning on showing the car.

You can also look into doing a "wire tuck"
It's a lot of work though.
