^They won't need any modification to fit the 03/04. Just a straight-up replica of the Nismo (no longer made)

The only modification needed would be to fit an 05/06. I don't think anyone has done that before, and I'm not even sure how feasible it would be to do, because of how the 05/06 rear bumper flares out at the bottom.
Really, any of the 05/06 guys that REALLY want this mod, can just swap back to the 03/04 bumper like Marcus did.

^Very true. You can score an 03-04 bumper on eBay for a good price, that is where I got mine. Its the 03-04 mudguards (part that goes right behind the wheel under the lip) that will cost you, as you know Ashely.

If my lip wasn't molded into my rear bumper I'd take it off my car in a heartbeat so we could get this made for everyone. Maybe Mark (SDGenius) can lend you his for a few weeks, he's down in SD.

THANK YOU Ionic for stepping up to do this for the Sedan community!

^I would buy one as soon as they're ready (as I'm sure 75% of the 03/04 sedan owners on the forum would to).

You know... I just thought of something.

The best bet for an aftermarket Nismo replica would be to integrate the mudguards into the replica. That would give it a more secure mount, plus it would make it much easier on 05/06'ers to use it, as they would only have to get the bumper.

Can someone post up some pics of everything, the mud guards, the difference between 03-04 and 05-06 bumpers and how the look installed.

Thanks!

Then you would lose adjustment. Better off making it as simple as possible so fitment would be consistent.

Very good point. Wish there was an easy/cheap way to make a replica mudguard so everything lines up properly. You can do it without swapping the mudguard but then adjustments have to be made by your body shop for it to fit and the fitment isn't consistent with the 03-04 mudguard.

^I don't think you would loose THAT much adjustment. The lip almost entirely covers the mudguards anyway.
