I purchased the nismo bumper from prestige bumpers . I was told It would not come with the inserts but would be primed and just needed to be dry sanded and painted.I received the bumper today. I was excited to see it did have inserts and looked almost perfect until I found a crack at the bottom of the bumper. Ima bring it to my body shop see what they can do .

 

Wow nice! I wish they would of told me the truth when I called them. I would of picked it up right away if it had the fins. They never sent me the real picture of the bumper as the one on ebay is a standard pic they used.

Thanks I took a risk and I got lucky I guess . I called prestige and told them about the crack and they are reimbursing me the cost of repair by my shop. I believe they have another one in stock . I would get it ! You could always use the vis replica inserts or it might even come with inserts.

I just got it painted twilight blue and installed yesterday. At first , the bumper was about an inch off since it was hitting on a the foam in front and little square piece sticking out of the reinforcement. I was thinking maybe I got the wrong bumper. They cut those pieces off and after bumper was a good fit. I will have pic up tomorrow. I bought my car used about 3 years ago and body shop told me it looked like it might have been in a front end accident since one side of the reinforcement was slightly bent. Knock on wood having had any major issues to date.

 

Yea everybody has to cut those to make the bumper fit

 

Mine were just held on by those plastic pop clips. Just took them off, no "cutting" required. You also have to drill out the pop rivets on those little aluminum square tubes on each end of the bumper bar (at least if you're coming from a Non-aero bumper).

Looking right at home! Do you have Nismo skirts and rear lip too?

 

I have the nismo side skirts but not the rear lip. I have a a strafe nismo rear lip I will put on soon. If there is anyone selling a license plate delete cover please let me know.
