need toe bolt?

I am lowered on 350z s-tech.. Bought a camber kit off a vendor on here and said I would most likely not need a toe bolt kit with my camber kit! So I ordered without one. I get to the shop today to get camber kit installed and they say I NEED a toe bolt kit. Just wanna make sure if I really do or not.

As far as I know my camber was out of whack thats it! Never my toe was bad or anything. Nor does it look like it.

i had 350z s techs on my car and i didnt have a rear camber kit or rear toe bolts .. my camber was off but i got my toe within the spec ...... but you might as well just get some toe bolts and throw on your car and never have to worry about it again .. thats what i did with my new set up

Just got off the phone with the shop so here is what it comes out to! They say 135 to install camber arms and 90 dollars to roll fenders. and when I get toe bolts 135 to install those because of all the honing they have to do!

I asked to I really need the toe bolts. What he said was yes because when you get an alignment and they get your camber all set it will then misalign your toe. Is this true?

those prices are hardcore, the rear camber kit is super easy to install... its like 2 bolts including the oem toe bolt... and fenders should be about 50-60 for both sides.

they wanted 90 for both rear fenders.. The other shop in town wanted 20 per fender but couldnt guarantee that my paint wouldnt chip.. You get what you pay for...

Still havent really gotten an answer.. Do I NEED toe bolts or am I fine without them?

90 bucks for both fenders rolled sounds fair ... if you have like 2 hours of free time and a jack you can do the whole rear camber yourself . its super easy :-) ...

like i said before i got my alignment done a months ago with the 350z s techs got a good alignment . toe was in the green and camber was in the red and i never had a problem

Ill see what happens after alignment if needed and how bad it is out of spec.

It is possible that you will not need toe bolts after installation of camber arms. After camber is brought in line, toe will change as well.
Less negative camber=more toe out.
I had 2.19 degrees toe in(waaay out). After installation of camber arms it became 0.19 degrees in. I am not sure what the stock specs are, but this is sizeable improvement in the right direction. Now, the problem is that my toe bolt is seized inside the bushing and toe is not adjustable until I replace the bushing. With otherwise good stock toe bolts it is possible to bring toe within spec.

When installing after market toe bolts(I got them too, but only one side was installed) frame must be slotted to take advantage of increased adjustability. Lots of shops are f... clueless about that and just install the bolts.
