Aftermarket Y-Pipe for you AWD owners!

Hey guys so I thought I be the guinea pig and see if any aftermarket y-pipe fits out there for ours cars. I went with the M2 performance y-pipe. Bought it from here http://www.hopupracing.com/apsevvihiout.html

This is the original thread created by SDGenius https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-...pes-found.html

Im proud to say that it FITS! Actually fits like a glove, no fitment issues whatsoever. It clears the transfer case easily. The inlets are 2.5" and the outlet is 3".

Here are some pics (CRAPPY pics, plus my friend forgot to change the white-balance on my camera phone, I'm going back to the shop next week and I will take new ones.) This thread is simply to inform other G35X owners that there are other aftermarket options out there. That's it.

I would assume this would fit any rwd models since it bolted on easily on my car but dont take my word for it.

Raspy, not really. It is like the agency power exhaust but 5 times louder.

pretty nice, still waiting for a real 05/06 AWD to pick this up before i completely consider this.

did your 2004.5 have a HR styled Y pipe or the more T shaped y?

2004.5 -06 g35x have the HR styled y-pipe. So it will fit your car. 2003-2004 supposely is the T shaped y-pipe, never seen actual pics though.

If you want to wait, I'll take better pics in a week or so. I still need to put on my muffler. This y-pipe sounds meannn.

It would fit, would it sound good..Idk. Probably not because the piping diameter is all different sizes. Going from 3 inches to 2.35(whatever stock midpipe is) is not exactly ideal.
