05, came off red35's TT/6MT coupe so they are 427s. Didn't make me any faster, though, LOL!

^I don't understand why you would have a slight rake.

Mine came off a 06 sport coupe, and they are 427's that are the exact same length as z springs.

Yes, they are. I should clarify; my wheel gaps are pretty even, and my car does not sit as level as I've seen those with full Z setups, the rear is a tad higher than the front. Full Z's that I've seen seem to have a bit less gap in the rear, hence they sit more level and I don't know why since the springs appear EXACTLY the same just by eyeballing. Sometimes it varies from car to car, too.

What's a fair price for an auto shop to install springs all around, struts and shocks? I had some maintenance done last weekend (100k service) and was charged $80/hour! I want to make sure I'm not getting hosed on my suspension labor quote.

Just know you are headed down a very dangerous and slippery slope because once you get mod fever it never really goes away. A lot of us have started off with the "I just want a little drop" mentality and you wake up one morning down the road and you car looks like one of these and you're broke as a joke:

Those are the spring rates in lb/in, that is, how many pounds it takes to compress the spring one inch. Higher number = stiffer springs, obviously.

LOL @ Blue Dream trying to give the n00bs visual mod-itis

Thanks a lot Blue Dream. I find myself pondering trunk lips, among other things, for some reason.

If I go your recommended route with Z fronts and coupe rears... what shocks do I go with? The G35 struts/shocks all around or Z struts up front and coupe shocks in back?
I would recomend either front/rear revised z springs (04.5+) if you want about a 1" drop, or z front springs and unrevised coupe (pre revised rear springs). The z fronts will lower/stiffen up the front and the unrevised G rears will lower/stiffen about .5-.75" .....
once revised, the higher rate rear springs for the z and coupe are the same so you may as well just get a set of oem z springs. If you want some springs, I have some oem available...I think they are coupe fronts and rear. I would have to double check.

I am running G/Z combo with Z tokico shocks with no problem at all.

We've all been there. A lot of those cars have changed since those pics were taken last fall.

^^ Check my350z.com also. Don't ignore your local Craigslist/Kijiji, either.
