I had a similar experience two winters ago. The car in front had almost no damage. My hood was a wreck. Nearly $3K to repair.

Good luck!

Need a new hood, bumper, grill, headlights, radiator support, A/C condenser, passenger fender may be repairable, and possibly a new radiator.

it doesn't really look like you need a new bumper by looking at the pics

Unfortunately, if you look at the passenger head light you can see the portion of the bumper that mounts to the radiator support. It's broken off and MAYBE it can be repaired but the body shop doesn't want to risk the repair not being durable.

that mounting point is held on by a tiny plastic clip, so that seems like bs that it will make the bumper less durable, tell them to fix it

Ken based on those pics I would say you could get your Nismo bumper fixed and it will hold up just fine man.

Very sorry to hear about the accident. I hope everyone is OK!
